The current Clinch County Jail was finished in December of 1974 and is situated in the Clinch County – City of Homerville Law Implementation Center only of Georgia Hwy 2 on Homerville’s West edge. In 1986 under the Clinch County Sheriff's Office started utilizing full-time Prison staff.
