College Tuition Reimbursement Program


Purpose
This policy is to supplement the existing policy conerning Educational Cost Reimbursement. An updated policy is avilable through the City of Warner Robins Department of Human Resources located at 700 Watson Boulevard.

Policy
Employees eligible for Educational Cost Reimbursement is required to sign a contract with the City of Warner Robins when seeking financial assistance through education reimbursement. This contract must be signed prior to beginning work on any approved educational program.

The City of Warner Robins will require employees to maintain acceptable employment in return for educational reimbursement. The length of employment will directly correspond with the type of educational program and the amount of work completed in this program. The employee will owe one year of service beyond completion of education for each year financial assistance is received. Service rendered before completion of the educational program does not county towards the fulfillment of employment obligations.

The contract will be null and void if the employee is terminated before the fulfillment of the contract.
